I am having a problem to get the board to do DFU without entering the bootloader mode. Furthermore, when the board entered bootloader mode, it showed only a single slot with the `mcumgr -c testDK image list`. I tried using a different nrf52840 and it still behaved the same. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Are you using the nRF52840DK?

What version of nRF Connect SDK are you working on?

Also. which OS are you using?

I am using a custom made nRF52840 board.  I set the build configuration to nrf52840dk_nrf52840 though. The toolchain version is v2.6.0 on Ubuntu. Do I need to have pm_static.yml?

Please take a look at the steps mentioned here to enable DFU without entering bootloader mode and verify whether everything is correct.

I got the same problem on nRF52840. I solved this issue by adding the CONFIG_CRC=y to the prf.conf file. Without this, the CONFIG_MCUMGR_TRANSPORT_UART is n.
