Hi,

If the BL654 supports our own bootloader, you can use the nRF Programmer as Amanda answered.

Other than you need to contact Laird about what they implemented.

I want to flash zephyr hci_usb firmware to BL 654 Laird USB dongle.

I made zip file but can't flash with nrfutil in ubuntu. so i tried with nRF Programme in Windows and failed.

Hi,

I don't think that the BL645 supports a direct connection with nRF Programmer.

Using the nRF Programmer, you have to wire the SWD interface between J-link and BL645.

I think there might be a description or documentation from Laird for updating firmware in that module.

I recommend you contact Laird to get a way to update the firmware for the product.

- for flashing blinky.zip, i used Programmer v3.08. but i can't flash(please check attached file)

program don't recognize BL654 USB dongle(UNKNOWN_FAMILY)

Hi,

What is the application on your target device? Does it support nRF5 DFU or NCS SMP?

The nrfutil pkg generate command only supports generating a package for the nRF5 SDK image. For NCS, it should add CONFIG_BOOTLOADER_MCUBOOT=y to prj.conf to generate the update files.

If you just want to flash the image to the device, you can use nRFConnect for desktop /programmer app.
