&lt;p&gt;This should work, you can confirm it by running a Softdevice example such as the ble_app_beacon after replacing the files and see if it works.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;So it should be fine to update your fw already now.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
