Our 9160 experience and development has been great and your support is much appreciated.
We have an application using: AT%XVBAT
for monitoring voltage.

Hardware revision is 1.x.x
Modem is 1.2.x (due to using older version of the SDK

RE: nrf9160dk voltage

I would really prefer to see measurement that show the discrepancy you mention, it's easier for me to make a good case internally then. Until there is a measurement it could just be that VBAT is measured at the same time as there is a drop in VDD also. I would expect a few % error, but not 330 to 500mV no.

Another board has differences that are much greater (300mv). I am also seeing larger than typical differences in %xvbat sequential measurements. Is there a %error or accuracy you can provide for %xvbat?

RE: nrf9160dk voltage

I don't see a problem here in VBAT reading?
Can you please provide some guidance on how to resolve and or best practices for voltage measurement.
I recommend to start the debugging by measuring VDD over time using an oscilloscope and/or possible a logic analyzer with analog inputs. We need understand the ripple on VDD before we can comment on the measurement values using AT%XVBAT. For test you can also try to use a steady power supply for comparison.
