The nRF Connect for Desktop contains many apps like the Bluetooth Low Energy app (that is similar to nRF Connect mobile application), Programmer (which can be used to program nrf SoC's), Power Profiler app (used with ppk2) and so on.. The Raytac BLE module uses nRF SoC, so yes, it can be programmed using the programmer and I believe can be connected using Bluetooth Low Energy app as well.

Technically yes, You can add dfu support to your application using the RF Connect mobile application.

2. Can we send .hex file (size of 8kb) or .bin file using nRF connect mobile application.

if its not possible means is their any another application to achieve this using android phone.

I believe you are using the nRF 5 SDK.? Sorry for not checking this with you earlier.. The samples that I have linked to in the previous comment is for nRF Connect SDK..The ble_app_uart_c example is the right one that you could use. Here is a tutorial for adapting the nRF 5 SDK samples to the nrf52840 dongle: nRF52840 Dongle Programming Tutorial

Hi Swathy,

We have nrf52840(PCA10059) dongle for this we are not getting any central_uart_sample firmware or .hex file, We have example (ble_app_uart_c_pca10056_s140) firmware for nrf52840 DK(PCA10056).

Can you please share me the link for sample firmware.

Hi Roshan,

You could try flashing the central_uart sample to the nrf52840 dongle and peripheral_uart sample to the Raytac device.
