 I have a question. I have a nrf51822 acting as ble_central and always receive data with any ble_pheripheral data without scanning connected to the device, when receiving any data ble_central will print the data to uart. 
 For example :

&lt;p&gt;It seems to me that you can for instance use advertisment packets to send data, in the advertisment packet you can add manufacturer specific data, such as &amp;quot;num ...&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The peripheral can be in system off mode, wait for button press, then wakeup and start advertising &amp;quot;num ...&amp;quot; for a period of time before going to sleep and wait for next button press.&lt;/p&gt;
