We are experimenting with creating a custom board that follows the reference design for the nRF7002 DK.
In particular, we want to include the nRF5340 interface MCU and the nRF5340 coexisting with the nRF7002.

I've notified the sales team about your request, and they should reach out by mail on the mail you've used to sign up with on DevZone if that's alright with you.

Best regards,

Yes if possible please help me get in touch with a regional sales manager!

We have a Micro USB on our PCB with the intention of using it for flashing a custom nRF3540. It would be quite unfortunate if we had to rely on jumping external SWD from a dev board for programming.

RE: nRF3540 interface mcu programming on a custom PCB

Hi Rahul

Correct, the firmware used for the interface MCU on the DKs with an nRF5340 IMCU is not publicly available. Here on DevZone we don't comment on future plans or roadmaps as we focus on what's currently available. If you want information on potential upcoming solutions, products, etc. please contact the regional sales manager (RSM) of your area as they have a better overview of what's coming and not. Let me know if you need help to get in touch with your local RSM.

As for different MCUs, that might be, but I believe you will have to contact SEGGER and Microchip for getting the rights/license to use the ATSAM3U2CA as a debugger/interface MCU. Technically it should indeed be possible to use an ATSAM3U2CA.

Best regards,
