I just upgraded my Debian box. Now it contains Python 3.11. pc_ble_driver_py does not support Python 3.11. Same as for nrfutil, I found the alternative https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nrf-util . But what can I do to make

RE: py_ble_driver_py with python 3.11

Yes, that is correct.

RE: py_ble_driver_py with python 3.11

Thank you for your answer.
Python 3.11 is the version that comes with the current Debian bookworm.
Understood. However, the latest version of the pc-ble-driver-py is the last. There are no plans for further work on this driver i.e. no support for Python v3.11. Python v3.10 is the last version to be supported.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,
Øyvind

RE: py_ble_driver_py with python 3.11

Python 3.11 is the version that comes with the current Debian bookworm.

If I install Python 3.10, my scripts work with pc_ble_driver_py, but it is not the way of art to install another python version beside the distro's version. So there is no plan to support Python 3.11 (and newer versions)?

RE: py_ble_driver_py with python 3.11

Hello, can you please try installing Python v3.10?

Kind regards,
Øyvind
