Are you planning to develop something similar to programmer app in the nRF Connect for Desktop.?

Maybe take a look at the nRF Command Line Tools that https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nrf-command-line-tools/download. We have the nrfjprog dll that is used for programming and controlling the nRF products.
