I have the same problem. Using nRF Connect I can connect to device but using nRF Toolbox I can't.
I'm connecting to the BLE NUS sample.

I found that if I uninstall the nRF toolbox App and install again it works:
Connecting... Please wait... then I press back..
and I can connect to the UART service.
after I disconnect, I can't connect again...

I also found that if I reboot the phone, I can't connect again and it shows "Connecting... Please wait..." all the time.

HI Kamran,

Our R&D engineers would require a few more info to investigate this further.. Which firmware version are you using and which profile are you trying to connect to? Which phone model?

Could you also connect to the DK using nRF Connect app and verify if the problem exists for this app as well? You could also try to use nRF Logger app to get logs from the nRF Toolbox and attach them here.?

I have tested it on other Android versions it gives the same unknown error that works only on Android 12.

ok, I have tested it on Android 11 and it gives the same error but works fine on Android 12.

i have paired it correctly and tested it with 2 other phones having Android 13 same issue.

Hello,

It could also be that the phone may be using invalid pairing data.. Could you try unpairing the device in Bluetooth settings on the Android 13 phone.?

Hi Kamran,

I have reported this internally and will get back to you with the updates. In the meantime, could you see if it helps when you restart Bluetooth on that phone ad retrying it once again.?
