I see. Great to make sure that all of that is in place.

Are you using SES? Could you open your *emProject in a text editor to try and see if you can spot other configuration differences between "Release" and "Debug"?

Yes, the same error I receive and followings are the softdevice and bootloader that I use:

s132_nrf52_7.2.0_softdevice.hex

mesh_bootloader_serial_gccarmemb_nrf52832_xxAA.hex

I just wanted to make sure that you are using the right version of nrfutil first. Is this version also giving you the same error?

And are you sure that you are using the Mesh bootloader from nRF5 SDK for Mesh, and not the secure DFU bootloader from nRF5 SDK?

I should mention that I can make the private and public keys sucessfully. As well, the DFU package is made without problem using nrfutil. I can also do DFU process when I use application hex file from debug compile. However, when I use application hex file from release mode, the DFU process does not complete and I receive the error that i mentioned in the first message.

Hello again,

It might be that you are in fact looking at the right install files, though another nrfutil besides the Mesh one is being launched when you run "nrfutil".

Could you try looking at your path variables? The first one will typically be the one running. Or you could simply rename the one you've just installed, and see if that helps.

Could you try reinstalling it? The Mesh DFU version of nrfutil should be version "v3.0.0.0" (ie. 4 digits).

Maybe you have a different version of nrfutil that is running instead of the mesh one.

I was not available. yes I'm using segger. I've installed nrfutil based on guide in "github.com/.../mesh_dfu".
