&lt;p&gt;I am using PPK2 to measure current.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I measured the current using the nRF5340DK board and it is the same.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is the same even if the SPI Slave is removed while SPIM4 is suspended.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you use the development kit do you measure the same?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How are you measuring the current, are you using PPK2?&lt;/p&gt;
