&lt;p&gt;Otherwise, the board files also show the default assignment of the pins.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m not entirely sure what you mean by &amp;quot;disable the default assignments&amp;quot;. Changing the pins in the board files will change the pin assignment. On the DK there are also solder bridges which need to be cut or soldered for some pins:&lt;/p&gt;
