Hi, thank you for the fast reply!

Initially I flash the nRF52833 with the ...\myProject\build\zephyr\merged.hex file

then I use nRF Connect for Mobile v4.26.1 to upload the ...\myProject\build\zephyr\app_update.bin file selecting "Test and Confirm"

UPDATE: when selecting "Confirm only" everything works as expected! I should have read more carefully here, sorry for any inconvinience.

Perhaps anyone can give a link or elaborate the differences between "Confirm" vs. "Test" ?

Which exact Android application do you use for DFU?
Could you please provide more information about your setup and DFU procedure that you use?
