In the first link I mentioned "Matter overview" there is a page called "Matter network topology and concepts". Here you will find an image showing what a Matter network may look like. In this image you will see "Thread Border Routers" and "Matter Controllers". When we talk of a hub we typically talk about a device capable of being a Matter controller. Typically they are also capable of acting as a Thread Border Router.

A hub can be for instance Google Home hub, Amazon Echo hub or Apple Homepod hub which acts as both a Thread border router and a Matter controller. This blogMatter: Testing the nRF Connect platform with Apple, Google and Samsung ecosystems shows how these hubs are used in a Matter topology.

If you wish to test your application in a third party ecosystem that supports Matter (such as Google, Apple, Amazon, Samsung), then you will need to have some sort of hub from their smart-home applications (they are mentioned in the blog linked above).

If you don't need to test your application in a third party ecosystem, then following the bullet point list in my first reply in this ticket should set you up for success by using implementing a boarder router through the Getting started guide and using CHIP Tool as the controller on either Linux, MacOS or Raspberry Pi

Now question regarding DK is totally clear for Matter Over Wi-Fi.

When I read about whole process or steps regarding Matter over Wi-Fi at that time they written many things about Hub. But I am bit confused right now about where and which scenario the Hub will be in picture.

So can please explain briefly about in Matter over Wi-Fi Solution, Should I need Hub OR Should I buy specially for Matter Over Wi-Fi Solution. And If yes then can you explain me that why we need Hub and Where we use it?

The nRF7002 DK is the development kit for the nRF7002, and nRF7001 Wi-Fi 6 Companion ICs. It contains everything needed to get started developing on a single board. The DK features an nRF5340 multiprotocol System-on-Chip (SoC) as a host processor for the nRF7002."

As it had been stated in that case: You can use the nRF7002DK to develop Matter over Wifi products. The nRF7002DK features two SoCs. It has the 7002 wifi companion SoC and the 5340 host SoC. You develop your application on the 5340 part of the nRF7002DK, and the 7002 SoC of the nRF7002DK handles WiFi.

If you wish you can create your own custom board using the 7002 SoC and nRF5340 SoC, but I strongly recommend that you use the nRF7002DK if you wish to develop with Matter over Wifi in NRF Connect SDK. You can also create your own custom board using other host SoCs such as the nRF52840, but once again we recommend developing with the nRF7002DK

Thank You Andreas for giving me brief understanding reply,

Now can you recommend me DK for Matter over Wi-Fi. I read compatible boards regarding Matter over Wi-Fi and they written like you can use NRF7002 Soc and NRF5340 DK.

But What I think that if I buy only NRF7002 DK in that scenario can I perform the example of Matter over Wi-Fi.

Together with https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/protocols/matter/index.html I recommend you to start with the Matter samples and configure them for use over Wifi as described in the sample doc

Go through the Matter overview subpage, watch the Matter webinar and familiarize yourself with the concepts
Go through the getting started with Matter subpage which contains another webinar regarding how to test Matter samples in nRF Connect SDK and how finishes with how to test with commercial Matter ecosystems
- Testing Matter in the nRF Connect SDK also has its own link to how to configure CHIP Tool for Linux or macOS when using Matter over Wifi
Lastly go through how to create Matter end product

Everything you need to know regarding developing a Matter over Wifi product is mentioned in that page
