Hello Håkon,

Thanks very much for the insight. I went down a bit of a rabbit hole on this and it let me to concluding the greyed out aspects were a problem. I have sorted out the proper working devices now.

This is a visual error in vscode, where it is not able to pick-up and expand the defines properly, unfortunately.

A similar issue occurred in this thread: Kconfig defines not showing in ifdef, ifdef greyed out

Your setup is similar to these samples: https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/hal_nordic/tree/master/nrfx/samples/src/nrfx_spim

As long as you are able to compile and use your selected SPIM instances, it should be alright.
