While traces collected over UART usually are best, you can also collect them over RTT.

See the note under "Collecting a modem trace for a custom board" in the link I shared.

However, please share the raw file, not just the .pcap you can get from the Trace Collector v2.

Thanks for the fast reply.

We are using custom board so collecting traces might be very difficult, I've asked our SW developers if it can be done.

Meanwhile do you have any other suggestions I can check? If I wont be able to collect traces?

Could you take a modem trace?

Also, if you can share the log from the application core on the nRF9160, with CONFIG_SLM_LOG_LEVEL_DBG=y, that would also be helpful.

The application log is sent over RTT by default.
