&lt;p&gt;If it still does not work, can you try other serial terminals, like putty/teraterm/realterm or similar?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Could it be that you&amp;#39;ve changed the debugger firmware from J-Link to Mbed?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is how you recover a board with a non-nRF SEGGER debugger IC:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Power off the board&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Hold down the IF RESET/BOOT button&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Power on the board, and see that LD5 blinks with a interval of 1 second.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. A &amp;quot;BOOTLOADER&amp;quot; drive should appear on your computer.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. Download the jlink binary file from here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://nsscprodmedia.blob.core.windows.net/prod/software-and-other-downloads/dev-kits/nrf5x-dk-files/j-link-ob-sam3u128-v2-nordicsemi-170724.bin"&gt;https://nsscprodmedia.blob.core.windows.net/prod/software-and-other-downloads/dev-kits/nrf5x-dk-files/j-link-ob-sam3u128-v2-nordicsemi-170724.bin&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;(linked from the nRF52-DK page on our main website)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6. Drag and drop this .bin file to the &amp;quot;BOOTLOADER&amp;quot; drive, wait 30 seconds and power cycle your DK.&lt;/p&gt;
