Thanks for great support! After adding the following configuration to prj_nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpunet.conf file.

CONFIG_LOG=y

CONFIG_USE_SEGGER_RTT=y

CONFIG_LOG_BACKEND_RTT=y

And following the below procedures.

1. cd D:\ncs\v2.3.0\nrf\samples\peripheral\radio_test

2. west build -b nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpunet

3. west flash

4. Selecting nRF5340_xxAA_NET target device from RTT Viewer.

5. Rebotting nRF5340 device and clicking OK button from RTT Viewer.

I can see following log messages on RTT Viewer.

00> *** Booting Zephyr OS build v3.2.99-ncs2 ***
00> Starting Radio Test example
00> Clock has started
00> [00:00:00.816,619] <inf> sync_rtc: Updated timestamp to synchronized RTC by 13201 ticks (402862us)

Hello,

Thank you for confirming the issue. For this you don't need to include the other .config file while building. Please follow the below steps:

Enable the configs CONFIG_LOG=y, CONFIG_USE_SEGGER_RTT=y, CONFIG_LOG_BACKEND_RTT=y inside prj.conf file(prj_nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpunet).

Now build and flash the sample. ( west build -b nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpunet)

Open the J-Link RTT viewer and select the proper target device.

The sample you are pointing here requires a Remote IPC shell running inside the Application core of the nRF5340, See this. Were you able to build and flash the sample successfully? Can you share the logs of a successful build/flash? Are you able to test this sample using the method mentioned here?

Procedure to reproduce this issue is as follows.

3. west flash --recover

4. Lauching RTT Viewer and rebooting nRF5340 board.

5. RTT Viewer doesn't show and log messages.

Hello,

Please see the screenshot, in that I have marked the file you need to mention. For example in the vscode you can select different configuration file(see the screenshot).

For west build you need to mention that in the command eg:

west build -b nrf5340k_nrf5340_cpunet -d build -- -DCONF_FILE=<build_type>
