Hello,

I added a characteristic to send the temperature readings to the previous sample I uploaded. The temperature is read with the on-chip temperature peripheral.

Here is the updated example:

Note that this is a sample is something I quickly put together. Please keep this in mind if you use this code as a reference.

Hello, I have tried and orinetated myself on the LED sample you send. However, I am somewhat overwhelmed. Would it be possible that you send me a program to read the temperature via the sensor on the chip and display in the nrf Connect app, so that I can then try to understand the program. I think the UUID do not matter in the nrf Connect app.

You can use the lbs_mod.c file from the project I uploaded as a reference for how you can add your own services and characteristics using the Zephyr APIs. Additionally, you may want to have a look at our Bluetooth course at https://academy.nordicsemi.com/courses/bluetooth-low-energy-fundamentals/.

I am planning to use custom UUID service for the temperature and I also like to notify the temperature (Read+notify). Do you have any Idea how I can do this?

Hello,

I made a modified version of the peripheral_lbs sample to allow the client to read the LED state, please see attached. I made a copy of the original lbs.c source and copied it to the project source directory, so I didn't have to edit files in the SDK tree.

I couldn't find any samples in the SDK that sends temperature readings over BLE. Are you looking to use a specific Bluetooth service, or do you plan to use a custom service for this?
