Hi Dario,

I received the feedback from our team. Unfortunately coexistence is not supported in the ESB library at this moment. I think for PTX it should be possible to handling coexistence manually (by using the signals from wifi as I mentioned) but for PRX it could be an issue as the library doesn't have any support for coexistence with MPSL.

Hi Dario,

We will need to wait for our expert to come back next week.
What we need to figure out is that if ESB works with the MPSL coexistence APIs or not.

I guess the way it would should be that the nRF53 request the nRF7002 to start radio with COEX_REQ and wait for COEX_GRANT pin to turn up and then it can start to send TX package with ack payload.
But we will have to wait to next week to have better understanding.

Sure, I can try to explain a bit in detail

My device will send ESB data (enabling TX. disabling TX) to a series of Nodes that will respond, each one in dedicated timeslots. My device gather this responses (enabling RX, disabling TX) and sends them to the Application Core via IPC service.

At the moment, the Application Core forward the gathered data via USB/UART, but I now want to use some WiFi protocol, like MQTT, (not yet exactly define) instead of USB.

At the moment, if I try to set the coex configurations like explained here https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/device_guides/wifi_coex.html and trying with the dev-kit, but I can't figure out to make it work

Could you give more information about the application ?
How do you gather data via ESB ? The device under test would act as the PRX or PTX ?
Our ESB experts are currently away due to summer holiday. Please provide more information about your setup so we can have an answer for you when they are back next week.
