Hi, Lukas.

Did you also install the "nRF command line tools"?

nRF Command Line Tools - Downloads - nordicsemi.com

Specifically, you may need two system paths and a reboot.

(for Windows)

1>> C:\Program Files\Nordic Semiconductor\nrf-command-line-tools\bin\

2>> C:\Program Files\SEGGER\JLink

It could be. Could you show me what JLinks are pointed to by your path variables? And it seems that your nrfjprog version is fine, though could you try installing nRF Command line tools either way, just to check if that makes a difference?

The result:

C:\Users\petrikas.lu>nrfjprog -v
nrfjprog version: 10.18.1 external
JLinkARM.dll version: 7.80c

Does it have to do anything with the fact that I probabaly had already JLINK installed prior to NRF Connect installation? Since I programmed STM32 and other ARM processors before, I am sure I have had Segger JLINK installed at some point in the past.

Hmm I thought it was but maybe it isn't. Could you try running nrfjprog -v in a terminal, and let me know what version it claims that you have?

No other options in the drop-down menu.

I dont think I have nRF Command line tools installed. Is that a requirement for VSCode?

Hello Lukas,

That is odd. Do you have any other options in the Toolchain drop-down menu? The default one called PATH might be wrong, and point to some path variable that has been mistakenly set.

I assume you've installed nRF COmmand line tools as well btw?
