Thanks. Yes, the first screenshot shows what I was looking for. However, I don't see anything wrong.

You could try to reset the SDK the changes made to the SDK repos (if any) and open the peripheral_hr_coded sample in a new workspace.

Step 1: Open the command prompt from the Toolchain manager

Step 2: In the terminal, run the following commands:

# Warning: this command will discard all local changes
$ west forall -c "git reset --hard"
# Open VS code from the current directory
$ code .

I'm not sure what the problem could be. Would you mind posting a picture of the 'APPLICATION' view where the build folder is shown as well?

Yes, this indicates that the symbols are included in the build, so the issue seems to be with the Kconfig GUI viewer.

The hci_rpsmg.conf looks fine, I didn't change this:

CONFIG_BT_EXT_ADV=y
CONFIG_BT_CTLR_ADV_EXT=y
CONFIG_BT_CTLR_PHY_CODED=y

Full build done without errors:

Note: My application is called peripheral_hr_coded_fresh because I started from scratch after making something brake in the KConfig and it refused to build. The peripheral_hr_coded is removed from the samples directorty.

Another thing that comes to mind, I have a workspace with multiple examples in, could it have something to do with that?

No problem. Just to confirm, are you still building the peripheral_hr_coded sample and do you have CONFIG_BT_CTLR_PHY_CODED=y set in your child_image/hci_rpmsg.conf file?

Thanks for the tip. I'm very new to the environment so I was doing this wrong (I made a seperate build for the network core).

Hello,

The BT_CTRL_* symbols are defined here link and here link apply to the BT controller which reside on the network core in the 'hci_rpmsg' child image. Therefore, the BT_CTLR_PHY_CODED_SUPPORT symbol will not be set for the app core image. Did you make sure to select the hci_rpmsg child image before you opened the kconfig GUI?
