I had to modify modules/tee/tf-m/trusted-firmware-m/config/profile/profile_*.cmake in order to change ITS_BUF_SIZE.

Possibly with TYPE_NOT_SET profile this wouldn't be necessary and it might be possible to change it with ITS_MAX_ASSET_SIZE..

Its never easy!

I cannot figure out how to set ITS_BUF_SIZE from the application CMakeLists.txt the TF-M build seems to have a mind of its own!

I modified the profile cmake file and now crypto partition is starting but it seems another error is occurring else where. Time to dig around and try to find the next issue.
