I am not sure I understand what you are asking. You can program the SMP server sample on your stm32f4. In the sample they are using mcumgr on a computer to upload the DFU image to the server (stm32f4 in your case) which will then transfer it to the device that should be upgraded. It is possible to upload the DFU image to the server in some other way, but this is something you will have to implement.

Best regards,
Marte

RE: how to dfu 52833 via uart using stm32f4?
but you can run the server on a device
the server is my stm32f4, but how to port mcumgr to stm32f4. i use SMP Server Samples can duf via the go on my pc.

that is to say, how to "run the server on a device"? any sugguestions? thanks.

RE: how to dfu 52833 via uart using stm32f4?

Hi,

The SMP Server Sample sample in Zephyr can be used to perform DFU from one device to another over for example serial. It still uses mcumgr as transport protocol, but you can run the server on a device.
