Could you try not checking the "Enable Debug Options" and then build it? Then try flashing the obtained "app_signed.hex" file via Programmer app. We have had customers report that this resolved issues.

Hi Priyanka,

Yes, I built the Blinky sample using VSCode and I enabled the checkbox "Enable debug options".

I am following the instructions at https://academy.nordicsemi.com/topic/exercise-2-1/.

The "app_signed.hex" was created, so does that not indicate that the build completed successfully?

Where does the build log get stored? which directory? I can check that to confirm.

Hi,

So initially do you build the blinky sample using VSCode? Does it build properly with no errors or warnings? Also, when you build, do you enable the checkbox "Enable Debug options" ?

How did you flash the Blinky application onto the Thingy? Was it via the Programmer app or using an external debugger?
