Tried that and failed :)</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/thread/38129?ContentTypeID=1Wed, 18 Nov 2015 09:31:19 GMT137ad170-7792-4731-bb38-c0d22fbe4515:5c1540d8-00c5-4725-b19a-2faa18b5e934ovrebekk<p>Hi</p> <p>There are some difference between PCA10004 and PCA10028, but it is not the board itself that affects SoftDevice compatibility.</p> <p>The main issue with the PCA10004 boards is that they are using the older versions of the nRF51x22 chip (rev 2 or earlier).<br /> As you can see from the <a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nRF51_Series_Compatibility_Matrix_v2.5.pdf">nRF51 Series Compatibility Matrix</a> you need rev 3 parts to use the latest SDK and SoftDevice.</p> <p>In theory you could replace the chip on your PCA10004 board with a rev 3 part, but I would recommend getting a new PCA10028 board instead.</p> <p>Best regards<br /> Torbjørn</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
