If you connected the LTE Link Monitor after the sample had already finished, it wouldn't display anything in the terminal window in the Link Monitor.

In addition, the https_client sample does not monitor the UART for AT commands, and it doesn't print the AT command responses that the Link Monitor is looking for, so the Link Monitor isn't able to see the state the modem is in when you use the https_client sample.

If you reset the board after it is connected to the Link Monitor, do you get any logs?

RE: NRF9160 DK LTE CAT M1 Sim integration

Hi Dirik, Im using the NRF9160 DK. I have a LTE CAT M1 sim which is provided by T-mobile.

I want to my data into a sample mock server. For that I'm using a sample code which is present in the SDK itself using the ide VScode.

RE: NRF9160 DK LTE CAT M1 Sim integration

we are using nrf9160 DK and running an example code for https_client

RE: NRF9160 DK LTE CAT M1 Sim integration

Hi,

Those markers use responses from AT commands to see what state the modem/device is in.

If the device does not receive AT commands, or send the responses over UART (or the command are never sent), the LTE Link Monitor will not be able to see what state the device is in, and will show it as offline, even though it might be online.

You should therefore look more at what your device is doing, than what the Link Monitor tells you.

Based on the picture, I assume you are using an nRF9160 DK? Or are you using a custom board, and the DK as a programmer?

What application are you running on the DK?

Best regards,
