Ah, I see - yes, the devices will use directed advertising when they have already been bonded to a peer.
I was under the impression that you were trying this out when you first had programmed the headset devices, apologies for the incorrect assumption.

Hi Carl,

When I remove all direct adv mode, then Pixel 7 phone can find it, then play music through CIS.

Could you confirm whether you have enabled LE Audio support in the developer options of the Pixel 7 phone?

Not quite - they advertise their name, which will match the name filter implemented in the CIS gateway, so that the CIS gateway will establish a connection.
In any case their names should show up in your list of nearby devices if you have enabled LE Audio in the developer options.
