I currently ordered a ISP1907-AOA-DK. For the first evaluation I used a PC running Windows 10 with "nRF Connect for Desktop" (+ direction viewer add-on) and "nRF Command Line Tools" installed.
We just tested this on an Ubuntu 22.04 machine on our end, and the Direction Viewer app works just fine there. Does the other nRF Connect for Desktop apps work as intended on your Ubuntu computer?

On the documentation page for nRF Connect for Desktop there's a note that you must install the SEGGER J-Link Software separately on Linux and MacOS machines, so please do so if you haven't already. If you have, and the other nRF Connect for Desktop app works as intended on your Ubuntu computer, please try enabling Verbose logging and upload that here so we can take a look to see if anything is wrong from the log.

It could also be that your USB drivers, etc. aren't updated. But I'm no Ubuntu expert personally so I don't have any general tips on that front I'm afraid.

Best regards,
