Hi,

Looking at the product at FCC ID I can find this is not a Nordic product, but a bluegiga BLE112-A using a CC2540, considering this is not a Nordic product I don't think we plan to spend more investigation into what the problem may be.

Hello,

I meant nRF Connect for mobile yes, which is the generic BLE tool to connect any BLE device. If I understand you correctly this works?

If it works, then I think the problem is related to Toolbox and that: "Toolbox does not support the peer you are trying to connect to"

I couldn’t find an application called nRF connect for Android, but I did find one called nRF connect for mobile and tried connecting both ECG devices to this, which was successful. Additionally, I tried restarting Bluetooth, refreshing services, and clearing the cache. These all led to the same connection error: “Device disconnected because required services are missing”.

I reached out to the sensor company and they sent me this link for setup https://docs.movisens .com/BluetoothLowEnergy/#bluetooth-low-energy, which references using Java code, so I am not sure if we need to do some coding to configure the devices as well. We were unsuccessful in trying to pair them today.

Hi,

Can you use nRF Connect for Android instead to connect? It could be that Toolbox does not support the peer you are trying to connect to.

The problem can be related to services of a previous peer were cached by the tablet. To clear the cache either restart Bluetooth or select Refresh Services in nRF Connect.

Hi Kenneth, thank you for your response. We have tried it on two identical Android tablets and both experienced the same issue. The log provided is not full, however, it appears to just repeat the same remarks.

Not sure what the problem may be here, will try to ask a bit internally if someone has seen something similar.

Is that the log you shared complete? Do you see the same if using other Android phones/tablet?
