We are using S130 softdevice in peripheral role and achieve the specified maximum throughput of 63.4kbps ( S130 spec ) when communicating with a PC and connection interval is set to 7.5ms.
Multiple packets are sent in one connection interval.

RE: nRF51 to nRF51 throughput

@Christopher For questions regarding future releases please contact the regional sales manager for your area, if you don't know who it is, send me a PM and I'll let you know.

RE: nRF51 to nRF51 throughput

@run_ar this are great news. We were waiting for the 6 packets per connection interval feature ;)
When will be the S130 v2 final version available publicly (also in the packs) ?

RE: nRF51 to nRF51 throughput

In fact I did the changes of the header files and it almost run correctly except of an error of Keil compiler which does not allow declaration of array without size (#70: incomplete type is not allowed), even with C99 option enabled !

RE: nRF51 to nRF51 throughput

I have to admit I don't use packs that much, but I guess you have to remove the softdevice pack from your project, then add the S130 header files to it as you would if you didn't use pack. This means adding include paths for the new header files. Alternatively you have to wait for the production release to come in the pack system.

RE: nRF51 to nRF51 throughput

@gregorbader or @run_ar
I'm running actually a central device using the S130 and SDK 9. My project is set up with CMSIS Packages on Keil uVision. How can I switch to the alpha version to try this new S130's feature ?

Thanks a lot! I have successfully switched to this version and verified the 3 packets @ 7.5ms.
Configuration is a little bit weird (tx/rx counts, low/mid/high bandwidth).

Looking forward to the final release with 6 packets :-D.

This will change for S130 V2.0.0 where it will be 6 packets. For now it is possible to use S130 v2.0.0-4.alpha which support 3 packets per connection event.
