I got informed by the developers that it should indeed save the progress, so that it will resume after reset.

Do you have any logs by chance, that I could relay to them?

Sorry, I have misunderstood a bit. I thought that the issue was downloading FOTA while using AGPS/PGPS, but the meaning was AGPS/PGPS data.

From digging into the code I think that it is unfortunately not possible at the current time.

Just to confirm that I understood the issue better now, the desired functionality is to have FOTA resume downloading (without re-downloading) even in case of a reset?

Hi Michal.

ncs - v1.9.0

modem firmware - 1.3.5

Our main application is based on the GNSS example, with AGPS/PGPS using rest client and connecting to nrfCloud via proxy server.

Our FOTA application is based on the http_update example almost as is.

The download only starts over if the device resets during the download, and that applies for both AGPS/PGPS and FOTA.

For FOTA, the download resumes, from where it left off, provided there was no reset in between.

Sorry for the delay, I had a small mix-up with that case.

Could you tell me what is your code based on and which NCS version do you run?

Assuming the nRF9160: nRF Cloud REST FOTA sample, there is an error_reboot() function that runs in case of an error, which causes the device to reboot after 30 seconds.
