Ok, thanks for confirming. Then we need to change the UART used logging to the UART used for modem traces i.e. UART0 to UART1. Or use RTT to capture modem trace via RTT Viewer

Yes I am able to connect to a serial terminal and use AT command.

Understood, but are you able to connect to it through a serial terminal, e.g. PuTTY or Serial Terminal?

Hi, I think there is only one UART according to the schematic

If I want to use Celluar Monitor do I need to leave two UARTs if I am about to design my custom PCB?

I am trying to use LTE Link Monitor and seems it doesnt work at all now, even cant detect that the device exists.

Just to clarify, are you able to get any serial output i.e. does Serial Terminal provide any output? How many COM ports do you get from the device? The nRF9160 DK has three COM ports, one for serial output, one for modem trace and one from the board controller.

I tried what you said, but still got stuck there. I let it run right before my lunch but after lunch it seemed nothing happened. See attached.

What else can we check?

Hello, what happens if you click close and manually choose the modem FW from the drop down list? What COM port are you connecting the device to? I'm not familiar with the nRF9160 Thing Plus, but I assume that you have some COM ports available from the device?
