I'm using a nRF52833 to send a data packet (46 bytes) to an iOS app running on iPad which only supports 1Mbps. The nRF52833 supports long-range communication, so to enable long-range communication, do I need to change my central device

RE: How to set up for a long-range communication between nRF52833 (supported LR) and iPad (5th generation - only support 1Mbps)

Thanks Kenneth!

RE: How to set up for a long-range communication between nRF52833 (supported LR) and iPad (5th generation - only support 1Mbps)

Yes, that was my suggestion. It's possible to setup an nRF52833 that is a relay between the two.

I'm still a bit confused with your answer. You meant I need to have a 3rd device that can connects to iPad?

RE: How to set up for a long-range communication between nRF52833 (supported LR) and iPad (5th generation - only support 1Mbps)

Hi,

I don't see any othere way than to have some sort of relay device that can use 1MBps to the iPad and then long range to the remote long range enabled device.
