What is the external device and how are the DK and the device connected? If you cut SB9 you are removing power to the chip on the DK. I think the problem is that you are not recognizing the other chip. Are you sure the other chip has power? Check the VTG pin on the debug interface.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
