Can you create a new ticket requesting this tool, this way its easier for us to see how many customers that want this feature.

Currently the previous reply from Swathy is the latest method we have.

Hello,

Our team is working on a new tool to do this currently (it will download zip files from a server ) which will be released in a while.. But for now, you can test the source package: https://files.nordicsemi.cn/ui/native/ncs-src-mirror/external/ .. You need to download and unzip.

Hi Eric,

Just checked internally and we do have people working on it already. There are plans to have zip archives for each NCS tag that can be accessed, but is not yet available.

Is there a way to download an 'install package' so that the nRF Connect SDK can be installed offline?

What happens if Nordic for some reason decides to shut down their servers? We would no longer be able to install the nRF Connect SDK, is that correct?

So you basically want to copy the entire installed files from one PC to a a different one.? I believe that is not possible!

No, I'm thinking of the installation step. I'll put it another way: Is there a way to download nRF Connect SDK on one PC and install it on a second offline PC?

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier.. Are you asking if any version of the nRF Connect SDK, once downloaded, work without internet connection.?
