My custom module power consumption at power down(after call sd_power_system_off()) is about 2~3 uA

But, in advertising state, current measure is 3~4 mA, continuously, too big. Is this caused by lfclk?

Makefile is located on E:\Work\Project\ATIO\nRF52840 Module\Tag\V1.0\pca10056\s140\armgcc

52840.zip is zipped on V1.0

And SDK is on
E:\Work\nRF5_SDK_17.1.0_ddde560

Hi,

My board xtal's internal cap is 6pF.

I did test on 52840 DK board

NRF_CLOCK->EVENTS_LFCLKSTARTED = 0;

NRF_CLOCK->TASKS_LFCLKSTART = 1;

while (NRF_CLOCK->EVENTS_LFCLKSTARTED == 0);

But, DK board is also restarted on first line regarding NRF_CLOCK->EVENTS_LFCLKSTARTED
Not stuck in while loop, restarted...
I do not use watchdog.

NRF_CLOCK pointer is wrong???
Can I use this code on softdevice?

Hi,

The board is configured in Normal Voltage Mode when VDDH is shorted to VDD. This will disable the REG0 regulator stage and instead feed the input voltage on VDD/VDDH straight to the second regulator stage REG1. In High Voltage Mode VDD acts as a output not input as in Normal Voltage Mode, which means you can use it to supply external modules.

You cannot use that with configuration 6.

Does the program pass the while loop or is it stuck inside the loop?

What is the internal load capacitance of the crystal that you're using, and what is the size of the parallel load capacitors that you have matched the crystal with?

Hi,

if you're using a 3V0 battery and you're not going to source external components from the nRF52840, then I would recommend using Normal voltage mode, since 3V0 is within the operating region.
