&lt;p&gt;Yes, nRF52840 is on-air backwards compatible with nRF24L-series devices.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Both nRF5-series devices and nRF24L-series devices can run for instance Enhanced ShockBurst.&lt;/p&gt;
