Using NCS v2.5, indeed using nRF7002 can be built and flashed to AWS IoT

I still have inquiry how to receive the AWS_IOT_EVT_DATA_RECEIVED event to log but for now, I will verify the answer.

Now that NCS 2.5 is out, could you check if you are seeing the same issue there? Being a tagged version it should be more trustworthy.

Hello,

After configuring from 2.4.99-dev2, (edit build configuration by adding overlay and mcuboot.conf) I was able to build and flash it.
Currently, it is publishing from device to AWS IoT

However, when I publish from AWS IoT, it is not logged by the topic subscribed by the device.

Was expecting AWS_IOT_EVT_DATA_RECEIVED but there's no log.

Please advise.

Yes, 2.4.2 would be a tagged version, and more stable. The ones called rc (release candidate), dev (development) and .99 (main branch) are works in progress. So they might feature some new feature that you might want to test if you are particularly interested, though they can also be less stable. We do not recommend using these versions for production, for instance.

So if something does not work on 2.4.99-dev2, I would recommend trying 2.4.2.

Yeah, I see here that the sample does not support nRF7002 DK in NCS 2.4.2.I guess you would have to try the main branch (like you did), or wait for NCS 2.5 if you want to try this. or try what was suggested in the nordic Q/A ticket you found. Are you running into the same issue that Eric is describing there?

Could you show me the error log you are getting?

Are you seeing this issue on a tagged version as well. There can typically be some issues or instabilities on the main branch.
