I have looked into this and the related information.

I was not able to do what you are looking for.

Looks like it is not supported, but you can ask in the zephyr community and ask for feature request.

No it's not the same with (+) LOG_ (over RTT) and SHELL (over UART2) - Nordic Q&A - Nordic DevZone - Nordic DevZone (nordicsemi.com) .

This is my initial ticket, where I would like to have an understanding how one can have Shell in one Terminal and the LOG_ messages in a different terminal, over RTT. There is some info in the documentation, and I have tried to configure it, but I believe I am missing something. ( see Shell — Zephyr Project documentation (nRF Connect SDK) (nordicsemi.com) )

if so, looks like you found the solution.

The device is nrf5340 . Using nCS v2.4.2.
