LTE-M does not work in India . It’s NBIOT and fyi LTE and LTE-M are different

The NBIoT SiM are not sold over showroom ! Talk to there sales offices and ask for NBIOT SIM card

Same issue I cannot connect to the LTE I'm using the Airtel sim do the needful asap!!

Actually, I talked to the Airtel showroom . they told this sim support the NB-IoT but , i checked the sim connectivity on LTE monitor. it is get the network operator name and band list etc. and also connect the PDN but this sim not connect the LTE.

The Ibasis will not work here . .Also pls check if AIrtel SIM support NBIOT or no . The airtel M2M sim if i know is only for GPS tracking. Does it support the NBIOT Bands - i doubt. You Need a SIM which support NBIOT

Hello Praveen,

Are you able to connect to a cellular network with the SIM you are using? There is no need to activate this SIM for nRF Cloud. The activation of an iBasis SIM card is for the iBasis SIM cards which are delivered with the nRF9160DK. Other SIM cards can be used to access both cellular network and nRF Cloud without issues. If you need to activate the Airtel SIM card, please contact the vendor.
