I haven't heard anything from iBasis, but you can try to contact them to hear if/when they plan to get a roaming agreement in place in the UK.

Other than that, you will have to find another SIM card provider with the coverage that you need.

Other than your local operators, you can try to look into Telefonica Spain, which still have access to the O2 network, along with other countries (though I don't know exactly which ones).

Thanks Didrik, any word from IBasis on this? a fix / alternative network? It seems I can't get any connection at all..

Hi,

The device attaches to the UK O2 network, but is kicked out as soon as it tries to send an IP packet.

This is because of a change in the O2 network, that has caused problems for a lot of roaming devices.
