The reason for this is because our reference design BALUN has two jobs:</p> <ul> <li>Filtering noise/harmonics</li> <li>differential to single-ended impedance conversion.</li> </ul> <p>You already have a BALUN from Johanson that does the above mentioned job, so you should choose a RF PA with 50 ohm single-ended input.
