Hi, sorry for the late follow-up. No feedback yet from our team as they are not able to reproduce. Have you had any success on your side?

If not, have you tried to remove all Nordic SW, drivers and application, then reinstall the nRF Connect for Desktop?

BTW, from the screenshot you provided it states "Show detailed error message". Is there any more information in there, or is this the error EPERM: operation not permitted, mkdir 'C:\' copied from there?

Could you please provide full output from the command nRF Connect: Generate Support Information in VS Code - Command palette?

Is this a private computer or a company computer i.e. do you have all user privileges to install SW?
