I would like to know more about the compliance inheritance of the FFC rules certified by nRF9160 mentioned in the hardware integration guide.
In the integration guide section 2.3, the certifications can be applied to the host device

RE: Inheritance of FFC Rule Compliance from nRF9160 module
Do all instructions mentioned in whitepapers 033 & 034 need to be applied to obtain the FFC Rule compliance inheritance?
This is not strictly to re-use the FCC ID but to ensure good performance.
Does the host manufacturer need to strictly follow the reference RF circuity design, PCB layout, and stack up to inherit the nrf9160 certification?
No, that's not needed. But you need an antenna which satisfies the requirments in the grant notes.
It mentioned “No colocation with other transmitters”, Does it mean if the host PCB includes other transmitters (e.g. nrf52840, just like nRF91-DK), the FFC certificate has to be retested?
Yes, you will need to re-test the radiated performance with all transmitters operating. The conducted test results, which is by far the most complext testing, can be re-used.
