Hi,

Can you please provide the full chip-tool command used to commission the DUT? Is the host running chip-tool attached to the same network the DUT is being commissioned?

Sorry for the delayed response. I have tried your suggestion,it still is not able to connect to WIFI and below is the log for the same.

Just to confirm .I need to run these commands on my ubuntu machine which is runing the chip tool.Right?

Hi,

The team said the CLI is inherited from Matter shell implementation, but the connect is not implemented. So these commands are not supported.

Please enable RA/ROI on the Linux machine on the interface connected to the same AP as in the command:

if the Wi-Fi interface name is wlo1 then:

sudo sysctl net.ipv6.conf.wlo1.accept_ra_rt_info_max_plen=128
sudo sysctl net.ipv6.conf.wlo1.accept_ra=2

or just restart the avahi-daemon:

sudo systemctl avahi-daemon restart

Also, please ensure the PC with the chip-tool is in the same network as nRF7002DK.

1.yes I am using the 2.50 chip tool debug

2.I am using light bulb sample under matter. I am using Vscode, so after connecting the device when I typed matter it is showing wifi connect option. that's how I came to matter cli

Which Matter CLI sample are you using? Could you provide the path?
Just to confirm, do you use v2.5.0 chip tool from https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-connectedhomeip?

I even tried connecting to wifi using Matter CLI. But I am getting this error

I went through the post. In one post the person changed the Wifi security specs. however in my case the Wifi configuration is already WPA2/ AES.

I am using TPlink TL-WR845N

please suggest me what else can I try?

Hi,

As mentioned in this post, it could be some configuration on the router caused the issue. Here is a similar case.
