I connect the VTG-&amp;gt; VDD on the 52 DK, and then connect the p06 to my custom board TX, p08 to my custom board RX. 
 Then I use 
 screen -L tty.usbmodem0006826595691 115200

&lt;p&gt;Are you able to debug the firmware running on your board to verify that it starts up? The first thing I would try is to verify whether the program reaches main(). It may be failing before the logger is started.&lt;/p&gt;
