There is no straight forward approach to AWS with LwM2M to push the data to cloud. We need to develop a custom gateway to get the data from nrf9160 and push to the AWS cloud. Its going to be time consuming process and our time to market will be delayed.

Since we are using Jio SIM for NB-IOT and there is a restriction of max 500 bytes we can push to Jiocloud for every 15 min interval. There Jio supports MQTT end point.

Please suggest how to close the gaps here with respect to communication.

You can use, however, there might be issues with regards to TCP packages.

Do you have any logs from your application?

Thank you for the reply. We are on AWS IOT core uses IPV6 over MQTT. From your response, I understood that we cannot use MQTT over NB-IOT right? our product is wearable device in Healthcare. Do we need to use HTTP communication to communicate with AWS IoT core?

Hello Srinivas,

Have you verified that the network actually provides IPv6? What kind of network are you on?

Please note that MQTT is not optimal for NB-IoT as MQTT relies on TCP, which can be sensitive to delays and packet losses during data transmission. I would recommend testing with LwM2M or CoAP.
