Hello,

Could you please assist us in the following points:-

Is it possible to change read/write characteristic of the module? If yes, how can we do it?
We are using ” nRF Connect SDK ” as per your recommendation and using Visual Studio Code for debugging the samples. what is the best way to print the logs in the VS Code console?
Which sample do you recommend us to implement UART communication with controller?
Which sample do you recommend us to implement mobile device connectivity and send/receive data via mobile application?

It would be a great help if you could assist us.

For nRF5 SDK, v17.1.0 is the latest. nRF5 SDK is in maintenance mode, and you should not expect any new features added to this SDK variant. The ble_app_beacon example I linked in my last reply is the best starting point for a broadcaster application in this SDK. There is no dedicated scanning/observer example in nRF5 SDK, but it is easy to modify one of the central applications to not connect and print every advertising packet received. I'm sure there exist examples doing this here on DevZone if you use the search function.

For new development, nRF Connect SDK is the recommended SDK to use (also for nRF52 series devices). In nRF Connect SDK, you can find a Bluetooth: Observer sample that can be used to scan for beacons.

I mean is that any new(UPDATED) SDK variant you have ?? because I didn't found any Broadcaster example code in nRF5_SDK_17.1.0 .

Also, can you please help me to find the nearby device using nRF52832.

What I want is :-

1). I want to update my BLE so I can easily advertise my custom data in one BLE.

2) I have one another BLE(nRF52832) , using this device I want to scan all nearby device. and want to see all scanned device's advertised data.

For nRF5 SDK, see the Beacon Transmitter Sample Application. The advertising packet is filled with desired content in function advertising_init(), and you can modify this to add your own custom data. Make sure the data does not exceed BLE_GAP_ADV_SET_DATA_SIZE_MAX.

Not sure what you mean by "any updated easily accessible SDK variant"?

Thanks for the prompt response. we are using nRF5_SDK_17.1.0. can you please suggest me the easy way to advertise custom data. And is there any updated easily accessible SDK variant you have than also send that link.

Which SDK variant are you using?

You can find multiple beacon/broadcast samples in nRF Connect SDK:

It is easy to change the content of the advertising packet in for instance the broadcaster sample.
